sea stacks and geos

The coastline around the Orkney islands is spectacular to say the least.From sandstone cliffs to white sandy beaches,varying habitats provide a haven for flora and fauna.Geological features include  sea stacks such as the Old Man of Hoy and geos which are long narrow slots carved along fault lines by the sea.
